Sandy Nicholson

Welcome! This is the website of screenwriter and dialogue consultant, Sandy Nicholson.

Sandy has been working in television, film and theatre for eight years, including working as head writer on the international remake of HBO’s In Treatment. His script HATCH won Top Drama in the Launch Pad Pilot Competition in 2021, and his feature script THE HOUSE OF SAINTS won the feature film prize in the 2023 Screencraft Horror competition.

Originally an influential epistemologist, Sandy spent 3 years working with survivors of domestic abuse, and wrote a short film for the charity Women's Aid. This experience motivated him to pursue a career in the creative arts, and helped him appreciate how valuable storytelling can be in helping people understand and confront complex emotional issues.

Sandy's current projects include a range of horror and thriller feature films and TV pilots. He is also very excited to have his first comic book, DARK YOUNG, in development with renowned artist Dave Kendall (2000 AD).
